But why have jingles in a commercial?
Jingles are the only way of 'audio branding' your company and is the most distinctive way of making your company recognisable to the public (how many times have you sat in traffic singing the PCWorld jingle?) .

A jingle also gives you the opportunity to express the brand and company's profile - a comedy jingle can tell them that the company has a good sense of humour, an up-tempo jingle will tell the listener (and your customers!!!) that you are fresh/cutting edge, etc. It can also align your brand with a type of music/lifestyle.

Voices

We use a wide selection of voice talent from the UK and around the world. With the miracle (praise technology - till it goes wrong!) of ISDN it is possible to do live recordings with voices in Australia, the USA or anywhere on the planet. Just to say we only use the best!

We also have the added bonus of having a special relationship with a number of voices around the country - as well as our own professional in-house voice over Steve England, who has appeared on 1000's of both local and national commercials and was the voice of the Fiat Cinquecento!!!

Music and Effects

We have a thousands of sound effects for use on commercials - virtually any sound you need we can find (or if needed) make! Some would argue that we can produce any sound effect for anything from the secret S2Blue sound effects vault!!!!
The same applies to music, where we have invested in lots of "Buy Out" music for the most economical way to produce ads that sound great but don't involve getting another mortgage to pay mechanical rights organisations.

Delivery

As well as the traditional methods of delivery (MP3, MD, DAT, CD, ISDN - any other acronyms!?!) we have found that more and more our clients are using files such as MP3's and wav's either for production or approval. However sending these files via e-mail can cause problems as file sizes can be large and there is also delays or restrictions with some ISP's.

Therefore we have been worked closely with our web partners 3Sqaured to create a unique audio distribution website for our clients – MyS2blue - which increase efficiency and allow access completed jobs from anywhere in the World 24/7.

The site has been set up to be used on both PC & Mac and allows clients to download the file direct to their hard drive.
