Welcome to the August 2005 S2blue newsletter – it's been a sizzling summer at S2blue, we've produced loads of new imaging packages, tons of commercials AND on top of all that one of our new studios is now up and running!

We always work hard to make sure that the web-site is up to date and gives the maximum access to what we're doing. So we've come up with a new concept – the ‘S2blue Sneak Peak Videos'!


The Sneak Peak Videos are edited videos of our recent sessions – giving you access like never before to the recording process, even out-takes.


We've just added videos from recent BBC sessions plus edited versions of vocal sessions for Yaar Radio and Manx Radio.

NEW NEWS SECTION
As we've been adding to the news section quite a lot recently we decided it needed a bit of a redesign so that's what we've done. We've added new photos, Sneak Peak videos, press releases and loads of other interesting stuff – click here to have a look »

Image Plus/Business Booster offers

The new Studio 2
We've finally started seeing things come together with our expansion. Studio 2 is now up and running & only last week Steve and Gilly moved into their new office. We're also hoping that Studio 3 will be operational very soon. Point you mouse here to check out all the photos »

VOX 2005
Simon and Hayley recently went to VOX 2005 (the Commercial Production industries annual drinking contest, sorry conference) – check out the drunken photos here »

We've had a busy summer producing loads of new custom packages, plus some really cool classic resings - check out all the details below:


Capital FM's Go Home Show with Richard Bacon
We provided the new jingles for Capital FM's new Go Home Show with Richard Bacon – the package consists of re-sings of classic PAMS jingles, which are exclusively available in the UK and Eire through S2blue. Richard seems very pleased with the jingles – click here to read the Press Release.

We've just completed a new custom package for both Connect FM and Lite FM – the package fuses contemporary tracks with solo and group vocals to create imaging to fit in with Lite and Connect FM's format.

The new custom package for BBC Radio Humberside was created to reflect the stations output and features a mixture of contemporary UK vocals PLUS the BBC Philharmonic!

Created for BBC Cumbria this new custom package was produced to give real flexibility – with UK vocals and tracks.

Dave Fly – new Senior engineer
Dave joined S2blue last month as senior engineer and has worked hard to get the new studios prepared as he's not only an excellent engineer but a wiring genius!
Dave's previously worked for London superclubs Ministry of Sound and Fabric as well as engineering countless studio albums and live events.

New imaging show reel CD
We thought that with all the new packages that we’ve created recently we really should get an imaging show reel produced, so we have. CD’s will be sent out to stations later on this week.

Com Prod news
As you may know we offer a Commercial Production service both contract and bespoke. We’ve recently been awarded the Com Prod contract for Manx Radio and will be producing all their commercial production for the next 12 months. We're in the middle of some really exciting imaging projects at the moment including a custom package for a UK group so remember to keep checking the websites for new information – there will be more Sneak Peak videos, pics and demos going up in the near future.
